Reframe Cancer has appointed Denise Wond as marketing director.

Wond will head up Reframe’s marketing function and report directly to CEO Mark Stephenson. She has previously led marketing functions at Royal London, Scottish Provident, Bright Grey, British Friendly Society and Scottish Power.

According to Reframe Cancer, she will play a vital role in communicating Reframe’s evidence and outcome data, helping to showcase Reframe’s expertise across the cancer pathway while continuing to raise brand awareness across Reframe’s customer segments.

Her appointment comes during a period of extended growth, with recent client wins including Zurich, Benenden Health and Freedom Health Insurance. It follows the recent senior hires of Russell Young as commercial director, Professor Ben Kelly from Nuffield Health as chief operating officer and Nikki Cannon from Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Trust as head of screening.

Reframe Cancer marketing director Denise Wond says: “I’m absolutely thrilled to join the Reframe team and to shape our marketing strategy as we go forward into a period of sustained growth. I know how difficult it is to navigate life with cancer, and I’m honoured to be part of a team that does such a fantastic job in helping people through that journey.”

Reframe Cancer CEO Mark Stephenson says: “We’re delighted to have secured someone of Denise’s calibre. Her background in the insurance, financial services and energy sectors speaks for itself. She is the perfect person to bring her passion and expertise to the role and communicate the amazing difference we make for cancer patients for our customers and partners. She will lead the communication of our evidence, data and clinical excellence and solutions that sets Reframe Cancer apart from others.”
