Workplace pension provider Aegon up for sale

Nest pensions has created a new chief people officer (CPO) role and appointed experienced HR leader April Clark.

Clark was previously CPO, insurance, at Saga and has held senior positions at Aon and Prudential, as well as serving as a local councillor for more than four years.

Nest said that the newly created CPO leadership role highlights the importance the scheme puts on having the right capabilities and culture in the organisation.

Clark will be part of Nest’s executive team and will help the pension provider as it embarks on the next stage of its transformation journey in a competitive and complex market.

Ian Cornelius, CEO at Nest, said: “[Clark’s] appointment as chief people officer marks a significant milestone for us. Her leadership will be pivotal in ensuring that we have the right talent and culture to meet the challenges ahead.”
