Global professional services firm Aon has announced the promotion of Julie Page to the role of CEO for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, which will now include oversight of the United Kingdom.

The appointment follows a corporate reorganization and is set to take effect from November 15.

Julie Page, who already serves as CEO of Aon UK, will assume responsibility for the expanded region, which encompasses a significant portion of Aon’s global operations. The strategic move is part of Aon’s initiative to consolidate its client-service capabilities and operations across the EMEA and UK divisions.

As part of this transition, the current EMEA CEO, Eduardo Dávila, will be departing from the firm at the end of 2023.

Eric Anderson, president of Aon, emphasized the benefits of operating as one unified region, noting that this simplification aligns with Aon’s growth strategy and enhances the company’s ability to serve its clients effectively.

Anderson stated, “With more than 30 years of experience spanning our risk capital and human capital capabilities, [Julie Page] is well positioned to partner with leaders in the region to deliver on our 3×3 Plan and further develop leading colleague and client experiences.”

Aon is a major player in the employee benefit and workplace pensions sector.

Anderson also expressed appreciation for Eduardo Dávila’s contributions during his tenure and commended him for his leadership in advancing Aon’s presence across Iberia and EMEA.

Page’s elevation to this role underscores her experience and leadership capabilities. The move is expected to streamline operations, foster growth, and enhance Aon’s ability to deliver value to its clients and colleagues.
