Independent consultancy Broadstone has appointed Bentley Cunnington to focus on the continued growth of its flexible benefits platform Flexcel.

Cunnington takes up the role of senior flexible benefits consultant in the company’s Employee Benefits Consulting division, bringing with him nearly a decade of experience in the sector.

He has previously held management consultancy roles at KPMG, Benefex and Reward Gateway.

Cunnington will be responsible for providing high-quality, tailored consulting on employee benefits strategies, while strengthening Flexcel – Broadstone’s innovative flexible benefits platform – and expanding its client base.

Sector transformation

Broadstone said he is one of many employee benefits specialists who have joined the division over the past year in response to growing demand for employee benefits services.

Craig Williams, director of flexible benefits at Broadstone, said: “The employee benefits sector has undergone a transformation in recent years as new technologies and advanced data analytics enable more targeted, effective employee management strategies.

“We are delighted to welcome Bentley to our team. His expertise and vision will undoubtedly enhance Broadstone’s capabilities and reputation. We look forward to Bentley driving the continued growth of our employee benefits proposition.”

Cunnington said: “I am excited to join Broadstone’s talented and ambitious team at such a pivotal time in the business and sector. Together, we will continue to deliver exceptional employee engagement strategies that resonate with our clients’ needs.”
