Tedaisy Insurance Group has launched a new Perks platform for employees with pets.

Staff at the Salisbury, UK-based company are now able to sign-up for access to hundreds of exclusive discounts and offers, with a specific focus on dogs and cats, that will help them manage the costs of pet ownership.

All 60 employees at its locations, which also include Cambridge, London and Belfast, will be able to save money on brands including vitamin chew suppliers Yumi Dog and Kippy, a device that combines real-time GPS tracking and the monitoring of physical activity.

Grace Hackman, head of culture and people at Tedaisy Insurance Group, said: “The people at Tedaisy are what makes it a great business. Without them we wouldn’t be where we are today, which is why their wellbeing is important to us. We try to offer a variety of resources and help for our staff when it comes to mental health as we recognise there is no one-size-fits-all approach.

“Staff benefits include an employee assistance programme which gives staff access to face-to-face, video and phone counselling sessions, along with an app filled with self-care articles and mood tracking functionality, as well as private healthcare giving 24/7 access to a mental health helpline. Recently we have implemented Wellness Action Plans for individuals who are struggling with their mental health; these plans help them and their manager support their mental health in the workplace.”

In addition to discounts on pet products, employees can also take advantage of a range of money saving offers at high street retailers including Marks & Spencers, as well as discounts on holidays and technology, such as Apple products.

The platform complements the company’s existing employee benefits package, which includes enhanced leave and pay policies.

Tedaisy director Natalie Surtees added: “We were keen to implement a rewards programme that benefits the health and wellbeing of pets everywhere, and one which rewards dedicated pet owners too.

“This is an exciting time for the business as we are working hard to add even more exclusive pet-centric offers and discounts to the platform, which will complement the many existing discounts on offer.”
